Carpe Diem

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

1 Timothy 6:18-19

The Gift of Today

I feel alive with energy. Its time to embrace the blessing of my eyes opening today. The feeling of my lungs filling with air, the steady beat of my heart. This precious gift of life. Today is a new day, a day of new opportunities, new goals to be achieved, and people to help. All for the chance to achieve God’s will for my life today. No thoughts of worry for tomorrow. No regrets of the past. Here. Now. This very moment is full of new life.

What’s in Store for Today?

Let us live in the moment of today and view it as an adventure.  See how God is working through you today. Who will he place in your path? There will be celebrations, maybe a few hardships, and some challenges. All to teach us lessons and bring us closer to his will. Its time to be alert and be awake to your surroundings. Nothing is a coincidence. Trust God and his plan for you today. Pray about the decisions you make, big and small, to be confident God is leading you in the right direction. He will show you which way to go. Rest in the assurance he is in control. Allow him to take the wheel of your life. A new day is upon us. Enjoy the adventure of today.

Read my blog Listening to God’s Gentle Calling which describes how to be aware of God’s guiding voice throughout your day.
